Are you kidding me?!

As God as my witness I cannot believe that Blagojevich had the stones to appoint someone to fill Obama's Senate seat. It is almost comical. Just when the side splitting jocularity of the situation was about to be too much U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush stands up and plays the race card. When I say plays the race card I mean he slammed it down on the table like a 20lb brick.

Since when do things like your last name, Kennedy, or your race have anything to do with how well you can perform a job? I realize that this who gives a rats ass about qualifications has been going on for a long time in the private sector with the affirmative action program, but now it is in the media spotlight. The bottom line is the people of Illinois need to vote who replaces Obama!

Another thing that I find knee slapping funny is the fact that the Dems are going to bitch to high heaven about this and they could have stopped it. When Blago first was arrested he said that he would support the idea of a special election. Well guess what the Dems sat on their hands like they were vibrators from their wives night stand drawer. They did not think for a second that the Illinois Governor with the scarlet letter would ever appoint anyone. Seriously, could they have been more wrong?

They thought the special election would be a gamble with Illinois politics being called into question. Should I say Democratic Illinois politics being called into question, so they banked on the idea that Blago would be their lap dog and do nothing but lick himself. Guess what he didn't sit back like a well behaved Golden Retriever he pissed on their pant leg and appointed someone. I know enough with the dog analogies.

With all of that being said the only true solution to this problem is to hold a special election in Illinois. A special election to fill Obama's Senate seat. If you want to see this happen go to http://www.wewantavote.org/ and sign the petition.

Why is she so angry?

Caroline Kennedy seemed to get quite angry at a New York Times Reporter in interview and questioned their journalism talents. I can understand where she is coming from after all it is the New York Times, but why is she so defensive?

The potential next U.S. senator from New York tells the city's biggest newspaper that their reporters aren't such a crack political team. She compared them to reporters from women's magazines. This was meant to be an insult to the New York Times reporters in all actuality it was an insult to anyone who ever wrote an article in a woman's magazine.

Can someone please explain to me how this woman could possibly be qualified for this position? Throughout the last couple of months of the 2008 election all you heard was how Palin was not qualified. So to all the Dems out there that thought that please explain to me what the hell is the difference!

The Plot Thickens

Lawyers for Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich want two aides to President-elect Barack Obama and U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. subpoenaed, according to Chicago media reports. Ed Genson, Blagojevich's chief lawyer, said testimony from the aides will prove the governor's insistence that he did nothing illegal to fill Obama's now vacant U.S. Senate seat.

No matter how you interpret this news it still speaks to the fact the Barack Obama is surrounded by shady characters. With shady characters you have distractions. Distractions that will take your mind off of more important things like the economy, terrorism and the list can go on and on.

Love or hate John McCain we all knew where he came from and who is associates were. Time will only tell who Barack Obama will be linked to next.

If you are from the state of Illinois and would like to vote for Barack Obama's replacement in the Senate go to www.wewantavote.org for more information.

Barack's Internal Review?

Upon reviewing himself and his staff Barack Obama found out that he has done nothing wrong involving the Blago scandal and O.J. announced he is still looking for the "real" killers.

Put this in perspective even if the President Elect did find wrong doing is he going to run to the press and say hey I am guilty? Hell no. He is going to bury it so deep a guy in China is going to get a poke in the ass from the shovel. Then he is going to bury the shovel. It can turn out to be a game of Russian Roulette if the tapes tell a different story, but I would venture a guess that he has either heard the tapes or at least seen a transcript of them.

Like Obama or dislike Obama no one can deny that he has been enthralled in scandal and been paired with scumbags an awful lot for not even taking office yet. It is scary to think that the person about to take control of our country is going to have so many distractions once in office.

Tell me your opinion.

Put it to a vote!!!

The Illinois Senate seat, that may have been up for sale, should now be filled by someone who the people of Illinois pick. Milorad "Rod" R. Blagojevich allegedly tried to sell it and who is to say that won't still happen? It may cost the state of Illinois $50 million to hold an election to fill the seat, but I say that is the only way to make sure the people of Illinois are represented. That is the only true way that the people of Illinois will have a voice.

Government is getting to big! We are bailing out banks that were corrupt, automakers with unions that will not give up one red cent to save themselves and a soon to be president that want to "spread the wealth". Give the people the voice, give the people a chance to vote.

New York could possibly put a woman in the Senate that has no business being there. Your last name is not a qualification. General Grant is a distant relative of mine maybe I should get the Senate seat in Illinois! This who you know style politics is outrageous and needs to stop.

If you agree let me know. If you don't agree let me know and I will tell you why you are wrong. If you live in Illinois visit www.wewantavote.org and find out how to contact the right people and tell them that WE WANT A VOTE!!!!
